[LINK] Janet Kagan, Rest in Peace
Via james_nicoll, I've just learned that writer Janet Kagan has died.

Among her works, I particularly enjoyed her 1991 ecological science fiction short story collection Mirabile. As Kate Nepreu said, it's a great read.
